The city warmly welcomes Veterans and has taken several concrete steps to show appreciation for Veterans and active military personnel. The Military Banner Program displays official military photos of service persons who reside or have immediate family living in the City of Temecula.
Veterans and military personnel wounded in combat are provided with specially designated parking spaces by participating businesses.
Temecula maintains the Veteran Paver Campaign. The campaign features a “Path of Honor” and memorial located at the Temecula Duck Pond. The paths are made up of permanent granite pavers engraved with the names of women and men who have served in the Armed Forces.

The Pechanga Resort Casino and Pala Casino Spa and Resort are popular among locals and visitors. Pechanga was recently renovated, now offering even more space for nighttime fun, concerts, and events.

The Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival is another incredible attraction, multi-day event that draws as many as 38,000 attendees from all over Southern California. Held at Lake Skinner Recreation Area, the festival features wine and beer tasting, live entertainment, fair food, vendors, and balloon rides.

The Temecula Valley received 3.1 million visitors to its wine country in 2018. In 2018, visitors to Temecula spent $1.1 billion dollars, 26 percent more than the year before. In the same year, visitors spent $409 million on arts, entertainment, and recreation. Wine Enthusiast magazine named Temecula Valley a “10 Best Wine Travel Destinations of 2019.”
