Semper Fi Fund
The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post-9/11 combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities. Since establishing the Semper Fi Fund in 2004, we’ve issued 149,000 grants, totaling more than $158 million in assistance to over 19,500 of our heroes and their families.
We help qualifying post-9/11 Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, and reservists with amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury (TBI), severe post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), burns, blindness, other physical injuries, or those suffering from life-threatening illnesses. We also help spouses and children of active duty service members who face a life-threatening illness or injury.

The Marine Monument in San Clemente
The United States Marine Corps has been a valuable neighbor of San Clemente since the early 1940's when the Marine Base was established and dedicated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The community has seen Marines pass through town during World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Gulf War.
The monument honors these Marines in a manner that is a permanent reminder that their heroism is an important part of San Clemente’s heritage.
The life-sized bronze statue of a Marine in Dress Blue Uniform is most symbolic of The United States Marine Corps. The Monument will, for all time, attest to the Corp’s honor, courage and commitment in service to our nation.
